Meal swipes are not active during Spring Break. Students will be able to order from the quarantine menu by using RUExpress or credit. The next available day to order using your meal plan will be Sunday, March 21st for a Monday, March 22nd delivery.

Welcome to Rutgers Dining!

We would like to share a new food ordering system that has been implemented allowing you to order, pay for, and receive meals each day from Dining Services during your quarantine.

Steps to Ordering

Click the link below to begin the process and follow the steps below.

Dining Services MUST receive orders before 2 pm the day before delivery. You should order all the food you would like for that day.

All deliveries will occur daily from 11am to 1pm.

  1. Sign in and set up an account using your Net I.D. and password.
  2. Click Delivery
  3. Manually enter the Building Address (Street Address without the dorm name) exactly as it is written below for your location.
  4. Click on the address in the drop down menu when it appears
  5. Enter your Residence Hall Name and Room Number in “apartment #, suite # etc.” field. (ex: Richardson 12345)
  6. Click Continue and order from the menu
  7. At check out, choose the next available pickup time. (This step is required but has no effect on your delivery time)

Important Information

For best quality and assured safety:

  • Wash your hands before eating.
  • Food delivered that is typically consumed cold should be either eaten within two (2) hours of delivery or refrigerated immediately for later consumption (to less than 40 degrees Fahrenheit)
  • All entrees should be reheated (steaming hot) to 165 degrees Fahrenheit in a microwave
  • Discard any reheated leftovers. Do not reheat a second time.

 

Dining Services MUST receive orders before 2 pm the day before delivery. You should order all the food you would like for that day. For example, you would need to order meals for Friday’s lunch, dinner, late night snack and Saturday’s breakfast on Thursday by 12 noon.

Delivery time will be between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm daily. Housing Employees will notify you each day when your food delivery arrives.

Dining Services has developed full meal packages so you can use your meal swipes. You also have the ability to select from the daily menu and pay for individual menu items using RU Express accounts or credit cards.

Only one meal package per transaction is allowed. In order to have multiple meals delivered using your Meal Plan as payment, you would need to complete multiple transactions.

If you are paying with RU Express or Credit Card, you can order all your meals in one transaction and pay once at the end of your daily order.

All food will be delivered chilled. You will have the ability to choose from popular sandwiches, wraps, salads, fruit, side dishes, snacks, desserts, and beverages. Items that are traditionally consumed hot will arrive in microwave safe packages such as pasta with meatballs, grilled chicken breast, rice and vegetables, breakfast sandwiches, and much more.
